The hotel is located in the famous Getreidegasse. It's not really possible to descibe the special atmosphere - I felt like being back in another century but still enjoying excellent service. Overall I was very pleased with my stay.

The rooms are decorated individually. My suite was large and contained country-style antiques. The view was to the Getreidegasse.

I received a complimentary bottle of wine and a gingerbread in form of a deer (Hirsch) during the stay. Insinuations of deers can be found everywhere - bedcover, tableware, towels, etc - just everywhere. Everything is set up with love to detail.

Both restaurants are excellent. Restaurant s'Herzl offers local cuisine while the main restaurant focuses on international cuisine. 

Staff was great, the concierge managed to get last-minute tickets to a dinner concert in St. Peter.
